  • Getting baby all the necessary documents for UAE residence

    1) register birth with UAE government (you can use Baby Steps to save time)

    2) apply for baby passport at your consulate / embassy - check out how long it takes to get the passport

    3) you have 120 after birth to apply for baby UAE visa - which needs to be stamped on baby passport, so you need to do that first.

    4) apply for baby UAE ID card while you apply for the visa

  • Babywearing - available in the UAE

on this website Little Mico you will find the baby wraps that I have not been able to find anywhere else in Dubai - maybe I am just blind! At 200 aed the price is reasonably, compared to the Moby Wrap, for example...

  • Hassle-free baby birth government registration (and visa)

Baby Steps Dubai can register your baby at Al Baraha Hospital for you - on the website is the list of documents required.

As of September 2012, the charge of 550 aed for their service is so split: 250 aed as Baby Steps fee and 300 aed as Government registration costs.

  • Pregnancy Massage

Here's the ones I have tried:

Sensasia - various locations - the best (and cheapest) of the lot, they seem to look after a big number of pregnant women.

With the "prebook, prepay" offer, it costs only 199 aed, but only at certain times and it is NOT refundable.

Talise Spa - gorgeous setting and you can use their indoor and outdoor pool as well - 500 aed ++

Amara Spa - gorgeous setting and you can use their outdoor pool as well - 500 aed ++

  • Salons at home
